PROFFITT STRIKES AGAIN: Manheim Central senior Cole Proffitt won the javelin event at the Penn Relays last week when he uncorked a PR 205-11. The Penn State recruit matched that throw on Monday, throwing another 205-11 to win the javelin event in the Barons' dual meet vs. Cedar Crest in Manheim. Proffitt and Cocalico junior Jhett Janis (video: 204-6) have both cleared 200 feet this spring, and they'll meet again on Friday in Day 1 of the L-L League track and field finals at Hempfield. Go early and get yourself a good seat for that battle.
