LANCASTER - Two games. Two shutouts. Two section champs. And another step closer to a complete L-L League softball playoff bracket.
Donegal and Pequea Valley clinched section crowns on Wednesday, compliments of shutout victories in 1-game playoffs at Garrett Park in Willow Street.
In the Section 3 showdown, Donegal steamrolled rival Manheim Central 12-0.
And in the Section 4 showdown, Pequea Valley blanked Annville-Cleona 3-0.
There is still one 1-game playoff to go: Conestoga Valley - the reigning league runner-up - will take on Solanco for the outright Section 2 championship on Thursday at 4:15 p.m. at Garrett Park.
The only section that didn't need a playoff was Section 1, where champ Hempfield and runner-up Manheim Township have spent the week resting up for Saturday's quarterfinals.
