COLONIAL

James Buchanan 4, Shippensburg 3: The Rockets countered Shippensburg's comeback bid by punching across the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth. Dylan Sanders played the hero with a one-out RBI single, scoring Dan Williamsen. Levi Deike finished 3-for-4 while Sloane Bendell and Dustin Ziemba cracked two hits apiece as James Buchanan ran up 12 hits in the extra-inning affair. JB pitcher Tanner Eichelberger, like Hounds hurler Andrew Koser, went the distance, striking out five. Justin Timko's RBI double in the fifth helped Shippensburg rebound from an early 3-0 deficit.

Waynesboro 10, Gettysburg 0: Behind another strong effort from pitcher Alex Cline, the Indians cruised and ran his division record to a perfect 11-0. Cline gave Gettysburg fits over five innings, striking out four and allowing just one hit.
