LANCASTER - The two best L-L League boys' volleyball teams this spring will finally go head-to-head.
Hempfield, the Section 1 champ, and Manheim Central, the Section 2 winner, won league semifinal matches Monday night at Warwick, and will now clash for league gold on Tuesday.
Hempfield blanked Section 2 runner-up Lancaster Mennonite 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-16).
Manheim Central rallied past Section 1 runner-up Penn Manor 3-1 (19-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-23).
Hempfield, the No. 1 seed in the upcoming District 3 Class AAA tournament, and Manheim Central, the No. 2 in the upcoming District 3 Class AA tournament, will square off Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Manheim Township for the league championship.
