Manheim Township eliminated from PIAA team tourney
LANCASTER - Reinging L-L League and District 3 champ Manheim Township is out of the PIAA AAA girls' team tennis tournament.
The Blue Streaks on Tuesday afternoon dropped a 4-0 decision to District 1 fourth-seed Conestoga at Hershey Racquet Club.
No. 1 singles - Emily Mann, MT led Lauren Banner, C 7-5.
No. 2 singles - Ashley Lyon, C d. Meredith Meyer, MT 6-0, 6-2.
No. 3 singles - Lipika Gadila, C, d. Emily Murphy, MT 6-2, 6-1.
No. 1 doubles - Lauren Ge/Kaylee Yan, C d. Doris Simic/Effy Georgallis 6-0, 6-3.
No. 2 doubles - Kaja Michel/Lindsey Taaffe, C d. Addy Deery/Carolyn Mann 6-1, 6-0.
