Yet another honor for recent Lancaster Catholic grad and rising New Jersey Institute of Technology rising freshman Bryan Haberstroh.
The two-time reigning L-L League Baseball Player of the Year, who helped the Crusaders win their first league title this past spring, has been named the 2013 District 3 Player of the Year by Prep Baseball Report.

In 24 games this spring, Haberstroh, the Crusaders’ rock-steady shortstop and pitcher, hit .450 — 36-for-80 — with 10 doubles, four triples, six homers, 31 RBI, 36 runs, 14 walks and five stolen bases.
He had a .526 on-base percentage and slugged a nifty .900.
On the mound, Haberstroh appeared in four games and had a save, fanned 12 in 9 2/3 innings and had a 2.17 ERA for Lancaster Catholic, which finished 20-4 overall.
Haberstroh earned L-L All-League honors, First-Team Section 4 honors and All-State honors this past season.
And now, a big District 3 honor.
