Tomorrow we launch the first step of a complete redesign of our High School Sports section. We’re very excited to share these changes with you.
It’s a design influenced heavily by your feedback - reflecting the features you tell us are important, and incorporating the cleaner, bolder, simpler look you see on the rest of the site. This first step upgrades the home, sport, school, team and article pages. Your scores and schedules, standings, stats, brackets and player pages follow throughout the fall.
New features
There are big changes. The media landscape is evolving. We want to provide the best and latest content and user experience delivered to the devices you love.
Your experience on smartphone and tablet will be much improved
There is streamlined navigation. The menu button on the left of our top navigation bar opens to reveal in season sports. It’s also the place to find the other important areas of the site.
You can favorite pages. If you are registered with (insert site name) you can select a school or team as a favorite using the blue star button next to the school or team’s name. Those favorite links will be permanently available when you click on your avatar at the top of the page (insert image). If you aren’t already registered with (insert site name) you can sign up now (link to sign up form)
There’s also a permanent strip of links on the top of all the redesigned pages to help you instantly find Standings | Scores and Schedules | and School | Team | Player.

And last but not least, unlike last season comments to are now available in our High School Sports Network. Please post a comment and tell us what you think of the new design, or suggest more improvements, as well as to engage in conversation about all aspects of high school sports.
