MID-PENN COLONIAL DIVISION
First, to old business. Vinny Todaro of Big Spring, who won the AA PIAA title last year, has graduated. Now, to new business. Both the boys and girls divisions should come down to three-team races. Gettysburg will be in both. Boiling Spring and Wayneboro will be in the mix for boys and Big Spring and Greencastle-Antrim will be for girls.

2013 outlook/big picture: The Big Spring girls won the Colonial Division a year ago and have eight runners back to try for the repeat. On the boys' side, Robert Jumper said the tea Bulldogs are aiming to get some individuals to states.

2013 outlook/big picture: Boyer said that both the Bubbler girls and boys are aiming to get to the state meet as a team. Jonathan Goodson was a state qualifier a year ago, but apart from him Boiling Springs it looking to succeed with depth and pack running.

2013 outlook/big picture: Brian Mount is in his first season coaching the Warriors. Both the boys and girls were mentioned by other coaches in the Colonial as being contenders for the division title.

2013 outlook/big picture: Richard Secrest said that the Greencastle-Antrim girls are looking to compete for the Colonial title and make a strong showing in district. The boys are aiming for a .500 record.

2013 outlook/big picture: Eric Poe, in his fourth year, said that both teams have the ability to reach or break .500 this fall. Daniel Green qualified for states last year.

2013 outlook/big picture: Stan Line said he hopes for improvement with both teams. The Greyhound boys have several returning runners, while the girls have some new, older runners with a first-year senior and a transfer.

2013 outlook/big picture: Waynesboro's boys' team has eight of its top 10 runners back, so the Indians figure to be in the mix in the Colonial. The girls' have eight freshman among its 12 newcomers and 18 runners overall, so it will be a year of growth for them.
