There was a long discussion about Upper St. Clair, the WPIAL dynamo that fired the first shot and took out previous No. 1 Woodland Hills 16-10. In the end, the victory deserved more than a single bump, so No. 2 St. Joe's Prep, which downed Dallas Jesuit 48-21 in Texas. There will be no denying the District 12 Hawks if they come back from New Jersey with a win over Don Bosco Prep in week 2.
