Covenant Christian wins own tournament, Greenwood splits at Antietam; Saturday's boys' soccer highlights

Cal Sanelli's finish with 13:55 remaining — off an Evan Feliciano delivery — propelled Covenant Christian to a 1-0 win over Mount Calvary in the championship game of Covenant's two-day Falcon Cup Saturday at Susquehanna Twp. Park.

Hunter Wirth's overtime finish lifted Greenwood to a 4-3 victory over Muhlenberg at the Governor Mifflin tournament in Shillington. Tyler Fegley added two goals and an assist for the Wildcats, who dropped their opening game 2-0 to the host Mustangs. Goalkeeper Noah Schaeffer totaled 33 saves in the two outings for Tom Magill's club.

And New Covenant dropped a pair of games at the Antietam tournament in suburban Reading, falling 3-1 to the host Mounts and 2-1 to High Point. Nathaniel Litman turned aside 12 shots in the Flames' opening-round loss.

OTHER TOP INDIVIDUAL OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCES:

West Shore Christian's Siya Jojo poured in three goals as the Bobcats turned aside Lebanon Catholic 3-1 in Shiremanstown.

Nick Pupek, Chase Stout, Eric Ramming, Tanner Pressel and Willie Staz combined for eight goals and four assists as Red Land snapped a two-game losing streak by overwhelming Mifflin County 10-0 at Crossroads Middle School.

Luke Dugan pocketed one goal and assisted on another as Cedar Cliff employed a balanced attack in a 5-0 shutout of CD East at Lowther Field.

Stephen Michaels racked up one goal and one assist as Northern York remained unbeaten by whitewashing Waynesboro 4-0 in Dillsburg.

Carlos Esquivias scored twice as Biglerville popped Camp Hill 3-1.

Nathan Delgado, Andrew Moore and Connor Whitacre shared five goals and two assists as Dave Hartlaub's Conestoga Valley Buckskins rolled Dallastown 5-0.

Jordan Wallace scored twice — including the game-winner in overtime — as Manheim Twp. slipped past Exeter 3-2. Josh Tubay added a goal and two assists for the Streaks.

TOP GOALKEEPING PERFORMANCES:

Justin Ulrich turned aside 12 shots as Annville-Cleona rebounded from Friday's loss to Lancaster Mennonite by edging Lebanon 2-1.

Iain Moyer registered 10 saves in Lebanon Catholic's 3-1 loss at West Shore Christian.
