Central Dauphin ended North Allegheny's last lengthy winning streak in the 2011 Class AAAA semifinals. This time, it was Seneca Valley's turn to shred the Tigers 18-game run. QB T.J. Holl, the coach's son, produced over 200 passing yards and North Allegheny eventually ran out of chances to pocket their 13th consecutive win over the Raiders by committing six turnovers. The loss pulled the defending Class AAAA champs outside the Top 10. WPIAL heavy-hitters Upper St. Clair and Pittsburgh Central Catholic remained 1-2 in the polls after strong week 3 showings.
