Players: Luke Rutledge, 5-9 sr G

                 Kaylor Kulina, 5-10 sr G

                 Ryan Naccarato, 6-3 sr G

                 Colten Nagy, 6-2 sr G

                 Matt Seip, 6-5 jr F

                 Tommy Bowen, 6-5 jr F

                 Sam Freeburn, 5-8 sr G

                 Trey Klock, 6-5 sr F

Back-door cuts: With seven of his first eight players returning from a club that flashed its well-oiled motion sets in the District 3-AAAA playoffs for the first time in eight seasons, Hofsass has reason to be optimistic and enthusiastic about LD’s 2013-14 chances. And he is. Plug the brawny Klock back into the equation — once the football season comes to an end — and the Falcons have another big body they can park on the low blocks to snare boards, polish off putbacks and set some punishing screens. Quality club that really runs its stuff well and typically doesn’t hoist up low-percentage looks. If Falcons can maintain tempo and play effective defense, these guys could inflict plenty of damage in a ridiculously tough Keystone Division.

Projected order of finish: 4th of 9.

First game: Friday, Dec. 6 vs. Exeter in LD’s Nothing But Net Tip-Off Tournament. 7:30 p.m. start.
