Cumberland Valley junior forward Jen Falconer, who helped the Eagles to a Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division title and a District 3-AAA championship, was one of nine midstate girls' soccer players named to the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All-State team.
Falconer, who finished with 16 goals and 12 assists, was joined by Lower Dauphin senior Taryn Messick and Conestoga Valley freshman Gianna Yurchak as all-state forwards. Messick finished with 24 goals and 18 assists in helping the Falcons reach the District 3-AAA quarterfinals.
Trinity senior Ali Basom, who was a driving force in the Shamrocks' run to the PIAA Class AA championship game, made all-state as a midfielder as did seniors Haleigh Echard of Cedar Crest, Kayla Kelley of Halifax, Creslyn Van Dyck of Harrisburg Christian and junior Jenna West of Manheim Central.
Finally, Northern senior keeper Sara Yunez, who helped the Polar Bears to a District 3-AA championship, was one of three goalies to nab all-state honors.
