Back-door cuts: New Covenant spent last season as a probationary member of the CCAC and officially joins the ranks this year. Life in the new conference won't be easy, though, as the Flames lost 6-8 Nate "Noon" Dawson, a 1,000-point scorer, to graduation. A lot of returning players boast experience, but even with Dawson the Flames struggled to win. Yorgensen is building for future success here.

Projected order of finish in CCAC East: 7th of 7

First game: Friday afternoon, 4:30, at Lancaster County Christian in latter's tip-off tourney

First home game: Thursday, Dec. 19, 6:30 vs. Lititz Christian

Song playing on Pandora when preview posted (completely meaningless stat!): "Nice To Know You" by Incubus
