In conjunction with ABC-27 and Advanced Hoops, “High School Sports Live” is back to broadcast 30-plus sports events this winter.
The Lancaster Catholic vs. Bishop McDevitt girls’ game begins Saturday at 6 p.m.
Lancaster Catholic is ranked 8th in the state in Class AAA, and is coming off back-to-back 30-win seasons under veteran, 700-win coach Lamar Kauffman.
The Crusaders are 5-1 this season, and have been idle since Dec. 20. They are 4-0 in division play and sit atop the L-L League Section 4 standings.
Senior combo guard Danielle Atkinson has 810 career points for Lancaster Catholic, while soph post Caroline Scarff is averaging a team-best 12.7 points.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt welcomed back longtime coach Joe Bressi this season. He’s back on the Crusaders’ bench for the first time since 1986, and McDevitt is 2-4 overall — all six games in the Mid-Penn Keystone.
Rachel Corrigan is averaging 8.8 points with 11 3-pointers for McDevitt.
“High School Sports Live” returns Tuesday for a Mid-Penn Commonwealth clash featuring Chambersburg at Harrisburg, starting at 6:30 p.m.
