Welcome to a Friday night edition of Basketball High Live on PennLive. We have a busy slate of games around the Mid-Penn Conference, the Lancaster-Lebanon League, the rest of the midstate and around the state in both boys' basketball and girls' basketball.

PennLive's Jeff Reinhart kicks off Friday's girls' basketball coverage by heading to Mechanicsburg where Mid-Penn Keystone co-leader Mechanicsburg hosts Hershey, which upset Palmyra on Wednesday. David Bohr, meanwhile, will catch Mid-Penn Capital leader Middletown against Camp Hill.

On the boys' side, Michael Bullock takes in a Mid-Penn Commonwealth matchup at Gene Evans Gymnasium as Carlisle hosts Harrisburg.
