Three Tri-Valley League games and a heaping helping of nonleague games on Saturday's midstate girls' basketball slate.

Tri-Valley winners included Lancaster Country Day, East Juniata and Upper Dauphin.

The most intriguing nonleague clash featured a pair of honorable mention state-ranked Class AAAA teams — Manheim Township, the L-L League Section 1 leader, and Methacton — squaring off at Spring-Ford in a 1-day showcase event.

Manheim Township won 59-50 as the Blue Streaks improved to 15-0 overall.

Also Saturday, Palmyra, which fell to Mechanicsburg 52-41 on Friday night, falling to second place in the Mid-Penn Keystone race, bounced back with a convincing 40-26 nonleague win at Muhlenberg.

And at Lebanon Valley College, Annville-Cleona senior Alex Siebecker joined the 1,000-point club; the Little Dutchmen, playing for the fourth time in five nights and with two starters out with injuries, fell 45-37.
