Thanks — or no thanks — to all the snow this winter, it’ll be a mad dash to the finish line in pretty every division race in every girls’ basketball league in the midstate.
A lot of games wedged into a small time frame.
While teams will be duking it out for division honors and district power points, several midstate players will be chasing the 1,000-point milestone.
Three local players recently joined the 900-point club; one is 5 points from joining that group.
In all, eight current players have 700 or more points, while seven midstate players have cracked the 1,000-point plateau.
So who will join the club next? If she remains on her current pace, Lancaster Catholic’s Danielle Atkinson should/could be next. The Crusaders’ sniper needs 60 points.
