Snowed in and can’t make it to tonight’s Trinity at Mechanicsburg girls’ basketball clash?
PennLive has you covered.
In conjunction with ABC-27 and Advanced Hoops, “High School Sports Live” is back to broadcast 30-plus sports events this winter.
Tonight’s Trinity vs. Mechanicsburg Mid-Penn Keystone clash begins here at 6:30 p.m.
Mechanicsburg heads into tonight’s game alone in first place in the Keystone with a 9-1 division record, and the Wildcats are 13-2 overall, including a key 52-41 win over Palmyra last Friday, giving Mechanicsburg sole possession of first place.
Trinity is 7-4 in the Keystone and 8-7 overall, and can throw a monkey wrench into the division standings with a road win tonight.
Two key kids to keep an eye on in this game:
Mechanicsburg junior Cecily Carl has eight scholarship offers and averages 17.5 points.
And Trinity senior point guard Briana Betz-White, a Division I Loyola (Md.) recruit, paces the Shamrocks with 14.7 points per game, and she comes into tonight’s game with 884 career points.
“High School Sports Live” girls’ basketball returns on Feb. 3 when Cedar Cliff welcomes Red Land.
