District 3 has updated the girls’ basketball power rankings, through games played Friday, Jan. 24.
Manheim Township, Palmyra, York Catholic and Harrisburg Christian sit atop their respective classifications.
The rankings are compiled based on a team’s win-loss record, plus strength of schedule. The formula computes a team’s weighted winning percentage and its opponents winning percentage.
The formula is used to determine the brackets for the District 3 playoffs.
Games through Feb. 6 count toward power rankings.
