Both Team Pennsylvania sides split a pair of games at the Fab 48 AAU event in Las Vegas

Wrapping up pool play with a pair of games on Friday, both basketball-playing Team Pennsylvania sides competing at the Fab 48 event in Las Vegas split two outings.

Joe Proctor’s U-17s opened with a 75-67 loss to California-based Inland 1, then downed another California club, Lakeshow Elite, 58-52 at Bishop Gorman High School.

Holy Cross commit and Harrisburg senior Jahaad Proctor scored 28 points in Friday’s early game, then dropped in 20 as Team PA claimed Game 2.

The 6-3 Proctor is averaging nearly 25 points per game thus far.

Susquehanna Twp. senior Joe Marshall and recent Cedar Crest grad Andrew Eudy split 18 points in the loss to Inland. Bishop McDevitt’s Milik Gantz backed Proctor in the nightcap by collecting 16 points, while Eudy wound up with 11.

Mike Pilsitz’s U-16s defeated IEBP-Blue of California 52-46 in its Friday opener, then tumbled to Hoop Dreams Idaho 64-42 in the latter outing.

No additional details on the U-16s were available.

Both teams, despite finishing with 1-2 records in their respective pools, will advance to bracket play Saturday.

Pilsitz's U-16s will take on Texas Dynasty in the consolation bracket at 12:40 p.m. Proctor's U-17s will play an undetermined opponent in any of three brackets.
