Players to watch: Sr. F Sydney Bartone, Sr. MF Annie Lodwig, Sr. D Amanda Nichols, Jr. D Ally Badman.
Outlook: First-year coach Chris Willman will be counting on Bartone, who had 15 goals and four assists last season. Badman is back after taking second-team Express-Times all-area honors as a sophomore. Willman hopes the Pirates can win the games they are supposed to and earn a District 11 playoff spot.
From coach Willman: "The team needs to develop a sense of team defending and attacking. We need to move away from the idea of individual performances to a team performance. We need to work together on both sides of the ball."
