Breaking a close game open with a 20-1 run that closed the third quarter, Kirk Smallwood's Harrisburg Cougars claimed an 81-54 victory over Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division rival CD East Saturday at Kimber Gymnasium.
Jahaad Proctor dropped in 21 points -- including 10 in that pivotal third-quarter spurt -- and Steven Stoney checked in with 13 as the Cougars (6-1, 5-0) ran their winning streak to three games.
Harrisburg, which led 39-34 midway through the third quarter, also picked up 10 points from James Ezell.
Anthony Wright's 10 points -- nine in the first half -- topped East (4-3, 2-3).
