The first edition of the District 3-AAA Power Rankings have been released over at piaadistrict3.org and the top two teams have had more than their fair share of time at the top.
16 teams qualify for the District 3-AAA high school football playoffs.
Bishop McDevitt has been the AAA big dog for the past few seasons since moving down from AAAA. Lancaster Catholic, on the other hand, has been the king at AA, winning last year's PIAA-AA championship.
The prospect of a postseason Crusader clash has been on the mind of every midstate sports fans this year. The initial rankings merely shows that thus far in 2012, that's where the power lies.
