With Mid-Penn Conference divisional races steaming at a full boil -- yet soon to arrive at a sudden close -- here's a quick glance at where things stand, who everyone has left and what needs to happen to crown a champion.
While Gettysburg secured a share of the Colonial Division championship Tuesday night by winning at James Buchanan, Jeff Bair's Warriors still have work to do to claim the Colonial crown and play in the Mid-Penn's four-team tournament (Feb. 12 & 14).
Eleven Mid-Penn sides remain mathematically alive for divisional championships -- some have strong hopes, while others are just clinging by the numbers -- with less than two weeks to go in the regular season.
Remember: Should two or more teams tie for their respective divisional championship, a playoff game(s) will be held to determine which club advances to Mid-Penn tournament play.
So stay tuned.

Only Harrisburg (16-1, 11-0) and State College (12-4, 9-2) remain in the chase for the Commonwealth crown -- and the Cougars (at CD East, at State College, Chambersburg) can end all the drama with a road win Thursday night against Marty Hasenfuss' East High Panthers.
State College (at Mifflin County, Harrisburg, at Cumberland Valley) was sitting one game behind Harrisburg, but Drew Frank's Little Lions lost in overtime Tuesday night at Chambersburg.
KEYSTONE

Although Susquehanna Twp. (17-1, 11-1) owns a sizable lead in the Keystone's title pursuit -- the Indians' magic number is two -- Trinity (12-3, 8-3), Palmyra (12-5, 7-4), Lower Dauphin (11-6, 7-5) and Bishop McDevitt (11-5, 7-5) remain in the hunt.
Should Susquehanna win tonight (at Red Land, Palmyra, Mechanicsburg, at Trinity), Lower Dauphin (at Hershey, at Palmyra, Cedar Cliff, at Mechanicsburg) and McDevitt (Palmyra, Trinity, at Mechanicsburg, Red Land) are out.
If Palmyra (at McDevitt, Lower Dauphin, at Susquehanna Twp, Trinity, at Hershey) loses tonight and Susquehanna wins, the Cougars are out as well.
Trinity (Mechanicsburg, at McDevitt, Red Land, at Palmyra, Susquehanna Twp) has a chance, but the Shamrocks must win at least three of their next four and hope Vince Rogers' Tribe drops three league games in a row.
Not likely, but should that happen an all-or-nothing scrap between Trinity and Susquehanna -- at Trinity -- would take place on Feb. 4.

Just a two-team race between Steel-High (13-2, 10-0) and Milton Hershey (11-5, 10-1), but ... obviously, nothing's settled.
Should the Rollers win tonight (Camp Hill, at Milton Hershey, at Middletown, East Pennsboro), Tramayne Hawthorne's streaking side will carry a one-game lead into the Spartan Center Friday night for Round 2 with Milton Hershey.
Mark Zerbe's Spartans (Steel-High, Northern, at West Perry), who pulled within a half-game of Steel-High by winning Tuesday night at Susquenita, have won six of seven since losing 66-62 in late December at the Roller Pit.
Steel-High will carry a 13-game winning streak into tonight's locally televised game against visiting Camp Hill.
COLONIAL

Although the Colonial may be the clearest divisional race going -- the Commonwealth lost much of its cloud cover on Tuesday night -- it's only because Gettysburg (15-4, 10-0) sports a working margin over second-place Greencastle-Antrim (13-3, 7-2).
All Gettysburg (Boiling Springs, Big Spring) must do to lock up the Colonial crown and advance to the Mid-Penn tournament is win Friday night or Tuesday night at home. Since Tuesday's scrap with Big Spring will be the Warriors' regular-season finale, Bair's group may welcome a Mid-Penn tournament date -- just so they don't sit idle until the District 3-AAA playoffs begin.
Greencastle (Shippensburg, James Buchanan, at Big Spring) must win out, while hoping Gettysburg loses out, just to forge a tie and a playoff.

As for the Tri-Valley League, which will continue to hold regular-season contests following District 3's cutoff date (Feb. 6) for inclusion in the power rankings, we'll take a look at that nine-team circuit next week.
Greenwood holds a sizable lead over East Juniata, but the Wildcats still have work to do to secure their fifth consecutive league title.
