LANCASTER - The most decorated wideout in the history of Penn Manor's football program has made his college choice.

Comets' senior Daulton Parmer on Wednesday committed to Lycoming College, which competes in the Middle Atlantic Conference.

The Warriors went 8-1 in the MAC and 8-2 overall last season under coach Mike Clark.

Parmer is set to become the third L-L League player to join Lycoming's roster, which includes another former Penn Manor wideout - Aaron Frederick - and Donegal's Ryan Boccagno.

Parmer finished his career with 117 catches for 1,406 yards and 12 touchdown grabs for Penn Manor, which went 10-2 this past season, with a runner-up finish in Section 1 and a trip to the District 3 AAAA playoffs.

The Comets topped Cedar Cliff in the first round before falling to Governor Mifflin in the quarterfinals.

Parmer walks away from the Comets' program first all-time in catches and receiving yards; second all-time in TD catches and all-time kick-off returns; third all-time in total yards; and tied for first in punt returns for touchdowns.

This past fall, Parmer was an L-L League Section 1 Second-Team pick at wideout; in his junior season in 2011, Parmer was named the L-L League Section 1 Defensive Back of the Year, and he was a First-Team wideout, defensive back and kick returner.
