Boys soccer: Ricky Fox's overtime goal leads Middletown past Hershey 1-0

KEYSTONE DIVISION

MIDDLETOWN 1, HERSHEY 0 (OT)

Ricky Fox's finish with 13:25 gone in overtime -- off a Kyle Shields assist -- propelled Middletown past Hershey in a Mid-Penn Keystone Division match Wednesday night at Memorial Field.

Christian Roberts preserved the shutout by making 14 saves, eight more than Hershey's D.J. Pawlush.

TRI-VALLEY LEAGUE

EAST JUNIATA 2, UPPER DAUPHIN 0

Ben Auker and Nick Lorenz each netted goals -- one in each half -- and Adam Strawser posted two saves as the visiting Tigers maintained their perfect league record by blanking UD in Elizabethville.

Madison Crum-Burger kept things close for Jeff Seiler's Trojans by piling up 17 stops.

JUNIATA 4, MILLERSBURG 1

Brand Brackbill, Nick Gilbert, Jose Lopez and Wyatt Brackbill each found the back of the net as Clint Brackbill's Indians eased past winless Millersburg at Dietrick Field in Mifflintown. Juniata led 3-0 at the break.

Elijah Shepley's successful penalty kick with 10:21 to go enabled the Dauphin County Indians to spoil Matt Coldren's shutout bid.

LANCASTER-LEBANON LEAGUE

ANNVILLE-CLEONA 2, NORTHERN LEBANON 1

Samuel Soliday pocketed two finishes, the second snapping a 1-1 tie with 4:02 to play, as Ray Kreiser's Little Dutchmen turned back Section III playmate Northern Lebanon at Gahres Stadium in Fredericksburg.

David Brooks gave the host Vikings a 1-0 lead with 9:11 gone.

ELCO 2, LANCASTER CATHOLIC 1

Tyler Arnold posted two goals as Kirk Keppley's Raiders claimed the Section III road triumph and reached .500. Adam Tobias made four stops for Elco, conceding only Eric Schneider's score midway through the second half.

COCALICO 3, LEBANON 0

Alec Sensenig racked up two goals and Wes Rathman added one -- all in the opening half -- as the visiting Eagles posted the Section II road triumph. Lucas Diciano kept his sheet clean by making five saves.

Eddie Amon piked up 12 stops for the Cedars.

ELSEWHERE

WILLIAMS VALLEY 5, JIM THORPE 2

Colin Harrison and T.J. Leiter combined for five goals and an assist as the Vikings completed a perfect regular season by toppling the visiting Olympians in a Schuylkill League crossover match.

Corey Ligenza and Matt Rich connected for Jim Thorpe -- Ligenza's finish in the 10th minute staked the Olympians to a 1-0 lead -- which could meet Williams Valley again in next week's Schuylkill League playoffs.
