LANCASTER - Five L-L League senior football players have been invited by the Pennsylvania Football Coaches Association to play in the 12th East-West All-Star Game.
After a one-year hiatus, the East-West Game returned to the schedule last spring, and was played in Altoona.
The game will now flip-flop between the western part of the state and the eastern part of the state.
This year's game is set for Sunday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at Downingtown West High School.
Mike Matta from Downingtown East will coach the east team and Don Phillips from Ellwood City will coach the west team.
Matta's roster could include at least five L-L League players; five seniors were invited, and there could also be alternates. Stay tuned.
