LANCASTER - The district individual bowling championship is on tap for Saturday, and 32 L-L League bowlers will be rolling for gold.
The tournament will be begin at 1 p.m. at ABC North Lanes in Harrisburg, with the finals set to begin at 4 p.m.
All bowlers will roll six games, with the top six boys and top six girls advancing to the single-elimination finals. The top two finishers from the first round receive a first-round bye in the single-elimination round.
Chelsey Merklinger is the reigning girls' champ. She rolled for Pequea Valley last year; PV and Lancaster Mennonite have a bowling co-op this season.
