When the Tri-Valley Track and Field Meet started on Wednesday, East Juniata's David Brantley was ready to go. But he only got to run one race, the 110-meter hurdles qualifying heat, before a storm pushed most of the meet to Thursday.
"Initially, I was a little upset because I was feeling good," Brantley said. "But then I realized I could go [on Thursday] with fresh legs."
And those "fresh legs" carried Brantley to three first-place finishes, one meet record and the Boys' Track MVP award.
