COMMONWEALTH

Carlisle 2, Cedar Cliff 1: Ryan Borowski and Nate Marks each slapped a pair of hits and Jack Davenport chased home a run for the Herd. Those contributions helped land a complete-game victory for pitcher Billy Burger, who scattered just four hits. Jed Thorson's first-inning sac fly got Carlisle on the board, and Davenport later scored Thorson with a sharp single in the fifth. Cedar Cliff's lone tally came on Brayden Lackey's sac fly in the fifth. Burger fanned five. Colts ace Joe Kidd struck out eight in the loss.

COLONIAL

Waynesboro 2, Greencastle-Antrim 0: Waynesboro's perfect run through the Colonial Division is complete, thanks for John Barr's complete-game three-hitter and a perfectly executed safety squeeze by Justin Freeman. Freeman's square-up pushed the Tribe ahead in the second while Ben Weber added some insurance with a RBI double in the fifth. Barr walked none and struck out four.

Shippensburg 4, Big Spring 0: Travis Ott was a one-man wrecking crew for Shippensburg as the southpaw struck out 17 during a one-hit gem. Ott's lofty strikeout total also trumped Shippensburg's single-season mark (103) for strikeouts, besting older brother Ricky Ott who set the mark in 2008. Lewis Cameron (2-for-2), Justin Pyne (RBI double) and Nate Hart (two RBIs) provided plenty of offense for the Hounds.

TRI-VALLEY

Halifax 4, Millersburg 0: In a rain-shortened affair, Eric Geyer's 2-for-2 performance steered the Cats and aided six strong innings by hurler Zach Shumber. Millersburg did get two hits apiece from Connor Keim and Robbie Burger, the Indians battery, but couldn't rebound from a swift 4-0 deficit.

Upper Dauphin 9, Line Mountain 0: Casey Wise roped a two-run homer, capping a three-RBI effort, and Kane Bouchard whiffed seven on a brilliant 74-pitch one-hitter. Wise was 3-for-4 while teammates Mac Ney (2-for-4) and Ian Buffington (2-for-4) aided the Trojans cause. The round-tripper for Wise lifted UD ahead 4-0 in the fourth.

CCAC

Harrisburg Christian 6, Bible Baptist 5: After Knights slugger Connor Shroyer drove in two runs to forge a tie in the bottom of the seventh, Noah Lenker popped a walk-off single with two outs in the eighth. Pitcher David Yeckley swiped the decision, limiting the Bobcats to six hits over eight blue-collar innings. Yeckley also tagged two of Harrisburg Christian's eight hits. The Knights earned a 2-seed in the upcoming conference playoffs.
