Mid-Penn Summer League dual meets concluded last Saturday, which means it's time for some postseason swimming.
It begins with three MPSL Divisional Meets Saturday morning hosted by Hummelstown (Division A), Middletown (Division B) and Dauphin (Division C). The top 16 times in each individual event and the top eight times in each relay event advance to the MPSL All-Star Meet on Sunday at Annville-Cleona Pool.
The top eight finishers in individual events and top four in relays from MPSL All-Stars will join with the top eight/top four from Capital Area Swim League All-Stars for the Mid-Cap Superstars Meet on July 27 at Hershey.

Age Groups (Boys & Girls) - 8&Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-19.
Events (Boys & Girls) - 100 medley relay, 200 medley relay, 100 IM, 25 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 25 backstroke, 50 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 25 breaststroke, 50 breaststroke, 25 butterfly, 50 butterfly, 100 freestyle relay, 200 freestyle.

Here are some quick highlights from the 2013 summer season, along with final MPSL standings. It should be noted that some of the top seeded swimmers will not participate in the postseason due to conflicting USA Swimming club events:
NOTEWORTHY
- Erica Clancy (Latshmere) has the top MPSL marks in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle in the 15-19 girls' age group.
- Hershey Aquatic Club standout Meaghan Raab has the top time in the 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 50 butterfly and 100 IM.
- Nathan Smith of Latshmere is the top MPSL boys' sprinter in the 15-19 group, as the Susquehanna Twp. grad sports the top mark in the 50 free and 100 free.
- Hershey grad and University of Michigan freshman Vinny Tafuto (Hershey Aquatic Club) leads with a 30.81 in the 50 breast and a 25.20 in a 50 fly.
- Annville-Cleona Otters' Ethan Gehenio (Northern Lebanon sr) is just ahead of HAC's Austin Doss for top spot in the 50 back, while the HAC trio of Will Drexler, Tafuto and Ian Sherwood hold the top three times in the 100 IM.
