The District 3 Wrestling Championships is loaded with some of the best talent in the state, and PennLive is previewing the best weight classes in this weekend's tournament.

At the top of the list: 132-AAA. Here is a quick look inside the 16-man bracket and why it is the class of the field.

Plenty of star power.

No weight class in the tournament boasts as many heavy hitters as 132-AAA. Eight of the 16 wrestlers in the bracket are state ranked, with five positioned in the bottom half of the bracket.

Big records.

Central Dauphin's Zach Elvin, Northern's Jonathan Ross, Oley Valley's Joey Fick and Manheim Twp.'s Matthew Grossmann are the top seeds — they are in no particular order — and combine for a record of 120-11.

Stay tuned early.

You can always count on first-round clunkers, but not at this weight. Fick will square off against Cumberland Valley's Alex Wolfe in the opening round highlight, and Big Spring's Greg Warner faces Spring Grove's Dakota Laughman. These four wrestlers are a combined 112-25.

Check out these potential quarterfinals.

Elvin against Wilson's Mike Hafer, Dallastown's Nicholas Shields hitting Ross and Warner on the bottom of the bracket against Grossmann. You come through this bracket to stand on top of the podium, and you earned it.
