Despite the snow on Tuesday, some local high school lacrosse teams were able to play their early season contests.

Northern York 9, Lower Dauphin 8

The Polar Bears scored with 1:58 remaining in overtime to defeat the Falcons. Northern had seven goals in the second quarter to take a 7-4 lead into halftime. Lower Dauphin scored twice in the fourth period to tie the game 8-8 and force overtime.
