LANCASTER - Three L-L League boys’ basketball teams had non-league games on Saturday.
Two of them earned victories:
McCaskey won its second game in a row, topping Reading.
And Lebanon Catholic bounced back nicely from a loss Friday night, knocking off Pottsville Nativity.
Columbia, meanwhile, dropped a river rivalry decision to Eastern York.

McCaskey 95, Reading 73 - Devonne Pinkard was one of six Red Tornado players to score in double digits with a game-high 22 points, and host McCaskey outscored the Red Knights 56-41 in the second half and won its second game in a row after toppling Ephrata on Friday in an L-L League section crossover opener. Keyon Cowan and Sha-Ki Staten added 14 points apiece, Diante Cherry had 12 points, and Derrick Dixon and Luis Fuentes chipped in with 11 points each for the Tornado, which improved to 2-2 overall; those losses are against state-ranked Harrisburg and Chester, the two-time reigning PIAA AAAA champ.
Lebanon Catholic 75, Pottsville Nativity 41 - Anthony Thomas and Alex Frattaroli scored 15 points apiece, Anthony Pletz chipped in with 13 points, and the Beavers got right back to work with a win after a double-OT loss to Lampeter-Strasburg on Friday in an L-L League section crossover game. The Beavers improved to 4-1 overall.
Eastern York 71, Columbia 54 - Host Eastern jumped out to a 35-23 lead at the half, and then outscored the Crimson Tide 26-12 in the fourth quarter. Marquel Wansley scored a career-high 17 points and Mike Rider added 14 points for Columbia, which fell to 2-3 overall.
