McCaskey has won 19 games in a row and sits atop the L-L League boys' basketball power poll.

LANCASTER - Here's a fresh L-L League boys' basketball power poll for you.

Last league games are Tuesday.

The list ...

1. McCaskey (15-0, 19-2) - Rampaging Red Tornado has won 19 games in a row, locked up the Section 1 championship and will take aim at back-to-back league crowns starting February 11. And yes, if the first round holds true to form, McCaskey would get Donegal - the game everyone wants - in the semifinals - not the finals. Sorry.

2. Donegal (15-0, 21-0) - Indians need a win Tuesday at home vs. Elco for a perfect 22-0 regular-season run. Good times in Mount Joy. Could be a fun couple of weeks coming up for this bunch. A lot of eyes on the Indians.

3. Elizabethtown (12-3, 15-6) - Keeping the Bears on the 3-line despite a couple of hiccups; E-town is 4-3 in its last seven games, but wrapped up the Section 2 crown early and is gearing up for the postseason. Don't be surprised - just saying - if you see the Bears at Manheim Township in two weeks. Could happen.

4. Lancaster Catholic (12-3, 15-6) - One game ahead of Lancaster Mennonite in the Section 4 hunt, and the Crusaders host the Blazers on Tuesday with the section title hanging in the balance. Catholic is angling for its fifth Section 4 title in a row. And I keep forgetting that a lot of these guys played in the league finale last winter vs. McCaskey. Battle. Tested.

5. Take your pick: Cedar Crest (9-6, 13-8), Hempfield (9-6, 12-8), Warwick (9-6, 11-10). They're all tied for second place in Section 1, and none of them play against each other on Tuesday. What are those odds? Get your tiebreaker criteria ready.

HONORABLE MENTION: Cocalico (7-8, 11-10), Lampeter-Strasburg (11-4, 14-7), Lancaster Mennonite (11-4, 15-6), Lebanon (8-7, 11-9), Manheim Township (8-7, 10-10), Northern Lebanon (10-5, 15-6).
